App Preferences:

The App uses local storage on your device. We do not collect:
- Device identifiers

- Usage analytics
- Advertising identifiers (except as used by ad networks in the free version—see Third-Party Services)

We use the information you provide solely to:
- Provide the core functionality of the App (tracking expenses, managing categories and budgets)
- Display insights, charts, and spending summaries based on your data
- Generate exports and reports when you request them

4. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
4.1 Local Storage
All data you enter into the App is stored locally on your device using:
- SQLite database for structured data (expenses, categories, budgets, settings)
- AsyncStorage (or equivalent) for app preferences and settings
4.2 No Cloud Storage
We do not store your expense or budget data on our servers or in the cloud. All such data remains on your device.
4.3 Data Security
While we implement reasonable security measures for local data storage, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device.
5. DATA SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
We do NOT:
- Sell your data to third parties
- Share your expense or budget data with advertisers
- Use your data for marketing purposes
- Share your data with analytics services
- Collect your financial data for tracking purposes
5.1 Third-Party Services
AdMob (Free Version Only):
- The free version of the App may display advertisements through Google AdMob
- AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data in accordance with Google's privacy policy
- Premium subscribers receive an ad-free experience

RevenueCat (Subscriptions):
- Subscription purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play and managed by RevenueCat
- RevenueCat may receive anonymized or pseudonymous identifiers related to your subscription status
- We do not send your expense or budget data to RevenueCat

5.2 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Our App is designed for general use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use the App without parental consent.
7. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES
7.1 Access and Deletion
You have full control over your data:
- You can view all your expenses, categories, and budgets within the App
- You can edit or delete expenses, categories, and budgets at any time
- You can delete the App, which will remove all local data (subject to your device's backup settings)
7.2 Data Export
The App provides export features (e.g., to Excel) so you can save a copy of your data. Data is stored locally on your device until you export or delete it.
8. DATA RETENTION
Your data is retained on your device until you:
- Delete specific entries within the App
- Delete the App from your device
- Clear the App's data through your device settings
We do not retain copies of your data after you delete it from the App.
9. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Core expense and budget data is stored only on your device. If you use features that involve third-party services (e.g., ads, subscription management), those services may process data in accordance with their own policies and may involve transfers outside your country of residence.
10. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
- Posting the new Privacy Policy in the App or on our website
- Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
